We've officially started the mixing phase of Eleanora's album and another step closer to her quest for residency!! Huge shout-out to all my peeps who leaped into action and donated money, time and resources to get this album recorded!! This was truly a group effort... Getting drums, piano, strings and other large studio recordings done by fantastic session musicians is not easy to come by. Now onto the fun part of polishing and mixing these great recordings!! The Lion King (1994) - Hans Zimmer might have been unsure about taking on a “kids’ film” at the time, but he brought to it gravitas and emotion that truly elevates it. It's essentially a tragedy, and the composer takes the score to operatic heights. 4. The Dark Knight (2008) - While the late Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was scene-stealing (and Oscar-winning), Zimmer's contribution picked up on the character's freneticism and murky sense of the show. 3. Inception (2010) - Like The Dark Knight, sound design and music converge, creating an aural world that goes beyond any sense of traditional film scoring.
