‼️BIG BACKYARD’S SELF-TITLED DEBUT ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED ON AUGUST 31ST with a merch drop and a run of CDs‼️ Howdy everybody! For the last year or so, we’ve slowly put together a finished collection of Big Backyard tunes that we can put our weight behind. All four of our previously released tracks were painstakingly reworked on top of three brand new songs, one of which we’ve never even played live before. This album represents our four years of growth as musicians, songwriters, bandmates, and best friends. The writing and recording process were deeply collaborative, and no part of the album would be the piece of art that it is without every band member’s individual skills, vision, and craftsmanship. We have been a very busy group of people lately, but we are finally releasing our freshest single, “Plaster”, everywhere on October 2nd!!! You may recall that we took a rural retreat in the early spring to write and track a few new BBY songs, and after half a year of revising, singing, producing, and getting distracted with other events in our lives, the lead single is the best song we’ve written so far. Thanks for sticking with us! This band is a passion project and we wouldn’t bother doing it if not for our friendships and dedication to creating things together. We are privileged to know each other and we are honored that you’re still here to see what we do next.
