2025 has been a year of grieving for me. I lost a lot- a life I thought I would have, a career I loved, my little cat, my sentimental things, my home, and for a good long while, the love of creating art. But with grief also comes healing, growth, and community. I have been so welcomed by my new community that I am able to grieve, that I do not have to hide myself while I am drowning in my tears. I have many hands to hold me and lift me up, I have many voices cheering me on, and while I cannot get back what I had, I can tend this new garden and grow something beautiful 🖤
