Tight Pants Comedy is the only show where national headliners join gritty local favorites on stage to trim the extra fabric, & perform their tightest sets with rapid-fire jokes. Aside from the tight sets, the name Tight Pants plays on the fact that the producers of the show, Kyle Wayne and John Bennett are both millennials who enjoy swearing skinny jeans—a wardrobe item Gen Z has proclaimed “uncool”. Tight Pants has produced over 100 shows in New York, including monthly shows at St. Marks Comedy Club and the Comedy Shop. In 2024, Tight Pants successfully ran the Tight Pants Tight Five Comedy Competition—New York’s largest standup comedy contest, featuring 150+ comedians.
