THIS IS MY FAVORITE PHYSICAL ITEM I HAVE EVER SOLD. @chrisdupontmusic and I knew this album belonged on 7-inch vinyl long before we hit the studio. The medium needed to match the content. Homemade, bite-sized, light. That meant we had to work within a hard 14-minute limit. There is no unnecessary moment on this record, and I am SO PROUD. When Caitlin and I were first dreaming up the visuals for this project, she suggested a still life. We spent a couple months collecting items from around our dreamy little house and town, and assembled a pretty pile of the gentlest objects on our dining room table. It was an altar of healing and home and doing our best - everything these songs are about. Our friend @brit.pow came over with her film camera, and the two of them got to work (while I was out of town. sorry guys). Every image on this vinyl package - from jacket to label - is from that shoot. Brit souped the film to make it even dreamier. Caitlin assembled our favorite photos and designed the entire physical package for you all to hold in your hands. I can’t wait to get one for myself, pop it onto the turntable, and tell my inner child I’m proud.

It’s Spencer LaJoye’s birthday! They are my best & brightest! Every time they look at me I want to fall into their pupils and roll around giggling like a burrito at a slumber party. I’m so in love it’s hard to shut up about it, I never want to - I never will! I would like to grow together to the age of 103 and guffaw all day like drunk Irish men. we are not together in the same state today but they are playing a show here in SANTA ROSA on APRIL 27! come hang out with us and let spencer make you cry 💋💧
