Another week of the caff. Probably up to 35 by now. Byron bay Elliot smith [Pete Murray] really soundtracked the week. So beautiful not any of the other ones. Look out for the Lara cover. The suggestion could have been nick’s seminal artistic thought tbh

My meals at home have turned into like a worse version of the caff. I should probably revert back to my old ways for a bit more variance and balance (I will get called out if I posted the meals though so you won’t see it).

Tav week 2. The bar and bistro turns double digits in days.
Une scene towards the end of Friday evening when the sherries had begun to undress our woollen reserves - the undesirables turn desired; affectation discarded for the truth, the uncouth, the uncanny and a nip of absynth.

5 more weeks, Wednesday Thursday Friday, ending June 5!
Too much now the tav is open. The caff will suffer, as will the coop, and I will die from sleep deprivation and malnourishment. Plus making space for @yolandafoodandstars big weekends incoming [watch this space :P]. Viva le caff. Viva le tav. Viva le coop
Week something I’ve forgotten I’m so tired.
Christening the temporary liquor license with the Lara gig - good to see the space lit up at night and the lager flowing [read: foaming]
Back in real life, finally got another Cullen skink on much to Brad’s delight. This one turned out better (lighter and simpler) than the last. Cleaner….more pure. Scottish baker Neil gave me some advice
Same red table (middle smaller one, the least sun damaged) but this time post meal. Everyone at everything except someone forgot their crusts… they mustn’t want curly hair.
Red turns to a beautiful pink with the rhubarb cooked in whisky and caraway seeds poised atop the yoghurt.
More colour and explorations, keeping things endogamic

Great Sunday afternoon at the Lithuanian club for Rudi’s Grandma’s birthday. Really great cooking, simple and delicious. Bravo Rudi’s auntie and Char on the tools.
Espresso at Errol’s on Errol street then a couple of pots of Carlton at the limerick, chasing the sun.
