35 year anniversary of the first album. Probably should’ve run it by @dart_adams for exact date, but pretty sure it was in March 1991. Wish I could reassure that kid that it would all turn out fine, but you gotta walk the path, do the math and sometimes feel the wrath before you laugh. Lot of firsts tied up in this too - first major label release, first appearance of K-4ce and D-Shan on wax (yes, there was vinyl, after a prolonged argument…). The stories I really should tell, about how many times it didn’t get released, what the original version of 80 Days sounded like, tour insanity and how I only earned $200 in royalties are long overdue. The upside: every step was necessary to arrive where I’m at today. So I am beyond grateful and deeply humbled to have had the opportunity. Oh, and apologies for no music…it’s unfortunately not available on streaming (again, another story). But feel free to take a listen to joints like Clutch Pop or Mantra.
Had to wait until I could unbox this properly - a huge, gigantic, lunar-sized THANK YOU to Joe Fielder for sending this signed Outer Worlds 2 poster - the perfect Christmas present! It was an incredible honor to be the voice of the Moon Man, and grateful to have been a part of this amazing team! Huge thank you to Bo Crutcher for inviting me to the Inner City Arts Creative Career fair to talk to kids about what we do in video game production. Despite the rain, amazing turnout, and left super inspired by those kids (got a dope vinyl bag too).
The Raekwon/Mobb Deep show? Madness. Toronto family from time Jon Ramos gave me tickets but in true Kishino fashion, my phone died, so I didn’t get to link with everyone.
The J-Screen event was great - don’t know how I got on the list, but grateful to be included. Saw Yumi Takada, Kei Kawamura and Masonobu Boo Motokawa speak about casting, and Aleks Le said some really beautiful about developing characters in VO. Thank you to Michelle Sugihara for including me!

Erika Ishii as Atsu is a force, and everyone you’ll see and hear brought the heat - it was powerful, moving and beautiful to witness their performances. So grateful and glad to have gathered new family on this, and strengthened the bonds with long time fam. The gameplay is phenomenal, the narrative is riveting and the visuals are stunning.
