Hi bébé, if you’re new here, my name is Lorena Martinez.
Here are a few things about me:
• I’m obsessed with the creative process
• I believe creativity is the greatest human gift we’re born with, not something reserved for the chosen few
• I believe PLAY opens that channel like nothing else
• I’m a trained actor, writer, and stand-up comedienne
• I’m a painter and can now add muralist and set designer to the list!
• I’m a Creative Doula. I help people bring their ideas to life: brand identities, books you’ve been circling for years, one-woman shows, soul-aligned slogans, all of it
(In corporate spaces, I call this Creative Consulting)
• I believe in magic
• I honor the Divine Feminine
• I love puppets. Deeply.
But above everything, I believe in PLAY.
I even crafted my argument in a sweet lil TED talk (link in bio if you haven’t seen it yet).
Here’s what I know to be true:

I am so thrilled to finally be able to share this story with you. She’s been so many years in the making. Years of figuring things out and uncovering my creative power.
Creating this was such a special process. I got to reconnect with that beautiful girl that was full of dreams and anxiety. That girl that was told she had to get famous NOW or be deported. That girl that never felt like she was enough. I’m so grateful for her; so grateful she kept going, so grateful she sought help, and SO grateful she listened to her ENTHUSIASM and not her fears.
I hope this talk sparks something wonderful in you. I hope it reminds you of your power. And above everything, I hope it inspires you to play and reconnect with your beautiful inner child.
