Walking through the warm, orange-toned town, knowing that the illustrators I admire and the friend Iād been missing were all in the same city or on their way there, made me so happy that my steps grew lighter, turning into little skips as I wandered through streets lined with yellow and red houses.
Iām forever grateful to have been part of the dPICTUS Unpublished Picturebook Showcase 7 (@picturebookmakers ), which gave me the opportunity to attend the Bologna Childrenās Book Fair for the first time, take part in inspiring meetings, see stunning illustrations, enjoy tasty food, and have magical encounters with kind people from all around the world. It was a wonderful week, and experiencing it all with @dariluk.art made everything feel even more sparkling! āØ

A souvenir I bought for myself
I feel thereās something magical about scents. Sometimes they remember my memories better than I do. They remember the temperature, the taste of the wind, the feeling in my heart, and they whisk me back to that moment in time.
I love using my forest fruit hand wash to wash my hands. Sometimes I lose track of time just washing them, because Iām not really washing my hands - Iām riding a time machine!! When I come back, my room smells like forest fruits. Itās the memory of my little room in Falmouth.

Iām happy to share that my picturebook Can I Have a Fluffy Hug? was selected for the Unpublished Picturebook Showcase 7!! I still canāt believe this isnāt a dream!
Being able to display my book alongside those incredible illustrators is one of the most wonderful things in the world. I am more than grateful to @picturebookmakers and the publishers, who made it possible for me to be part of this exciting event.
I would also like to thank my amazing tutors and course mates for guiding and supporting me throughout the process of making this book while studying at @ma.illustration.a.p āļø
I love all the kind people I met in Falmouth! I miss Falmouth! Sometimes, I even miss those noisy seagulls.
I want to start sharing more of the projects I did recently, but it is hard to find energy to post anything.
So, I want to show off this beautiful concertina book we did together with Bibi!
It is one of my favourite things Iāve worked on from start to finish because of how personal it is.
University life can feel very fast-paced, but looking back Iām surprised how many things we actually did!
Iāll share more of the process, but feel free to point which panel is your favourite. I tried to choose but realised I love every single one of them ahah
