Earlier this year, at @graphicdesignhasselt , I had the chance to take a Type Design studio in collab with @readsearch.be .
The effort to find a way to represent Friulian - from a borderland to another - resulted in a booklet that summarizes failure, research and reverse engineering design methods. 5+1=1 is a reflection on experimentation and failure, and it’s happily imagined, printed and bound by me during an amazing, freezing Flemish fall.
