Life’s felt especially full lately, which is perhaps why I tried to hold April with a little more intention. Fewer photos, more presence. But thankfully, a few moments still made it to the camera roll…
1. Watching Ari find neighborhood friends has felt like one of those quiet answered prayers only mothers truly understand.
2. Easter with family. Equal parts sacred, chaotic, and covered in crumbs. Exactly as it should be.
3. Zigs and mommy’s first ER visit after a busted chin (on Marcus’ birthday, naturally). Not exactly a highlight in the traditional sense, but watching your child be brave when you know they’re scared will undo you a little. Children are remarkably resilient.
4. Getting to throw my best friend her very first baby shower. What a privilege it is to celebrate someone you love as they step into motherhood.
5. Family time in Texas with my nieces (including the one my sister somehow managed to clone directly from my childhood photos). Truly my tiny mini me.
