Now that we’ve had a few days to let things calm down and set in, it’s time to get sappy on a hard post.
What we did over the last two weeks was WILD. These unannounced house show days were stressful, chaotic, and long…but also exhilarating, moving, and SO much fun. We all said it more than once over this run…the feeling of these shows hit different. Something so grounded and real. Just a pile of modest gear, a good fucking band, and the songs. The songs SO many of us know. The virality of it only added to the chaos, but also made it feel like we were doing (and will continue to do) something truly special.
The trust and confidence this band has put in myself (and the rest of my fellow @all_american_crewjects HOGS) continues to be the pinnacle of my professional career. It feels like we can do anything at this point. I’ll never be able to properly thank them for what they have done for me, just grateful to be along for the ride.

Somebody told me it was time for a hard post (cough @megankraemer cough) so here is the first half of 2024. Definitely not in chronological order. Shows, PJs, Livy girl, new countries, tats, friends, and more shows.
After a week of recovering (except not really thanks to WWWY), finally able to put some words to the last 6 weeks of fun.
The Wet Hot All-American Summer Tour wrapped up on Oct 14 in Oklahoma City. What an insane ride it was. By far the most successful tour I’ve ever been a part of. Over 170,000 people saw our show over the course of 27 shows. That’s pretty good for a band that’s been around for 22 years and hasn’t done a headline tour in almost 10.
I’m not good at putting my mushy feelings into words, but I love this band and this crew so goddamn much. All the cliche bullshit aside, these people are family. And I’m so glad that we all got to experience this (and the Creed singalongs) together.
Mixing this band every night was so damn fun and I hope it doesn’t end anytime soon.

A little late, but figured this deserved a proper feed post. Leg 1 of the Wet Hot All-American Summer Tour ended last week with a serious banger in Minneapolis. We are ripping gigs left and right out here and having a blast doing it. Now we rest up for a few weeks before hitting the mountains/west coast to crush leg 2!
(And by rest up, I mean get @roxyatmahalls ready to open in 6 days...)
So incredibly thankful for this band and this crew and these shows and these fans. Legit having the time of my life out on the road with y’all. Let’s keep having some fun.
