The concert is the culmination of an intensive three-day chamber music course bringing together young chamber musicians from the UK and Iceland, coached by @bghancox (violin) and @robinmichael76 (cello). Two quartets share the stage, performing Shostakovich’s mighty Quartet No. 8, alongside extracts from Mendelssohn and Haydn. Come and support the next generation of chamber musicians!

On Sunday I crossed the finish line of the London Marathon in 3:21. 🎽🏅
I’m posting this video of the moment I received my medal — and I won’t lie, the wave of emotion that came with it was something else entirely.
As I crossed the line, I thought of Mum — as I do on so many of my runs.
Sixteen weeks of training. Early mornings, long runs, tired legs, and the kind of commitment that asks a lot of everyone around you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who cheered, messaged, and supported me along the way — at the roadside and from home. I felt every single bit of it.
