We restocked the main game from the CNY fair three times, and finally almost sold out leave 10 boxes! The result was better than expected. Thank you all for crowding into Victoria Park and supporting Hong Kong's original games by your feet! Thank you all for coming to check in with me and even get autographs 😂, and thank you to the partners who helped out! A special surprise was a player from Sydney who came all the way here. Your support is the driving force behind BGD Explorer's continued creation. If you think it's fun, feel free to leave a comment and share it with more people. We are also preparing to register the game on BGG, hoping it will not only be an original Hong Kong creation but also go further.
(Eng Below) 這件事在試玩活動有時會跟人講起，「賽翁塞馬」是以十二生肖的「馬」為題，首年發佈的遊戲，我們想每一年都做一款，做夠12年，玩家可以每年收集一種生肖，像玩遊戲之外的遊戲(元遊戲)。
有趣的是，馬不是第一個設計的想法，「龍」年開始都有在研究實現可能性。
We sometimes talk about it during demo events. "Horse Racing Jam" is a game based on the "horse" of the 12 Chinese zodiac series, the first game of the series that we actually released. We want to make one every year for 12 years. Players collect one zodiac annually, similar to playing a meta-game.
Interestingly, the horse wasn't the first design idea. We've been researching the possibility of making it happen since the "Dragon" year.

(Eng Below) 這個假期，我們完成了一個很有意義的小小挑戰：將 100 個賽翁塞馬的抱枕送到長輩手中。在早前就聯絡到香港復康會並贈送了，老友記見到抱枕又好奇又高興，當中一位伯伯問：有沒有馬的款式? 我們回：全都是隨便選！氣氛很好 (因為要得到機構、長者和家人的拍攝許可，所以合照看起來人超少😂)
對我們來說，桌遊冒險家的任務不單單是出版好遊戲，更像桌遊本身具有的功能，傳遞情感的媒介。感謝大家的支持，讓我們能持續運作，和社會一起成長。

This holiday, we completed a small but meaningful challenge: delivering 100 "Horse Racing Jam" cushions to the elderly. We teamed up with the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation for this special donation earlier.
The seniors were so curious and excited when they saw the cushions! One uncle even asked with a grin, "Are there any horse designs?" We laughed and told them, "Take your pick, they’re all yours!" The atmosphere was incredibly warm. (P.S. Since we needed full consent from the institution, the seniors, and their families for filming, the group photo looks a bit quiet, but the room was actually full of joy! 😂)
To us, the mission of Board Game Design Explorer goes beyond just publishing great games. Like board games themselves, our products serve as a medium for connecting people and sharing emotions. Thank you for all your support, which allows us to keep growing alongside our community.

很高興被邀請出席HSBC Speak for Success Programme – Inspire & Play，和VTC的學弟妹分享生涯規劃及遊戲創作之路的一些小故事和看法，剛好我對面的同學們表示自己正在嘗試製作桌上遊戲，應用在自己的學科領域上，希望這些點滴可以讓他們對於未來選擇與出路有更自由更多元的想法，擁抱這場充滿不確定性的冒險。
I was delighted to be invited to the HSBC Speak for Success Programme – Inspire & Play, to share some stories and insights about career planning and game creation with students at VTC. The students across from me mentioned that they were trying to create board games to apply to their academic fields. I hope these experiences can give them more freedom and diverse ideas about their future choices and paths, and help them embrace this adventure full of uncertainty.

The 2026 Lunar New Year Board Game Cup has successfully concluded! Thirty friends participated, and everyone had a great time, trying out #HorseRacingJam and even adding items to their carts to support Hong Kong original games. Thank you all! Some children and adults didn't want to leave, and some praised our dedication to the board games. Seeing such a success shows that we're on the right track. Board Game Adventurers will continue to work hard! 👍
(Eng below)初二一齊玩賽翁塞馬，背景是煙花和跑馬音樂，氣氛爆燈，大家打出老BEST之後，突然有人打出no thanks 令某個玩家前面的老BEST沒有分數，同時另一人打出叮噹馬頭要塞一隻馬到賽道打亂賽果，當下現場嗨爆。
**王牌是9張隨時可以打出的強力功能牌，是所有玩家玩過都一致好評擴充機制。**
On the second day of the Lunar New Year, we played a game horse racing jam. The background was fireworks and horse racing music, creating an incredibly exciting atmosphere. After everyone played their Best Friend Cards, someone suddenly played "No Thanks," causing no points to best friend in front of that player. Simultaneously, another player played "Double Dush" push a horse onto the track and disrupting the race results. The atmosphere became electric.
**The Ace Cards is 9 powerful card that can be played at any time, a universally praised expansion mechanism.**
