The countdown to Salsa, Salsa! is on! 🌶️
Funded by the @atlantafalcons Youth Fund, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta’s annual Salsa, Salsa! competition brings together youth from Clubs across metro Atlanta to create homemade salsa using ingredients grown in their own Club gardens.
This year’s event also celebrates the continued partnership between Willy’s Mexicana Grill, BGCMA, and The Coca-Cola Company through the Give $5, Get $5 summer fundraiser supporting local youth programs.
Following the live taste-test showdown, the winning salsa recipe will later be featured at the winning Club’s nearest Willy’s Mexicana Grill location for the community to enjoy.

Yesterday we celebrated with 50 of the 129 seniors we served for the 2025-2026 academic year. We’re happy that they were able to join us, along with their families, friends, club staff, and supporters across Metro Atlanta. Our seniors participated in several readiness pathways throughout the year based on their plans for their next chapter – college readiness, certification readiness, workforce readiness, and military readiness. They also received information on scholarship and internship opportunities, attended college and industry tours, and participated in scholarship application writing workshops. 24 of our graduates were also awarded $350,000 in scholarships!

As #NationalVolunteerMonth wraps up, we’re highlighting our partnership with @gostripers that’s creating meaningful opportunities for youth beyond the classroom.
Through this partnership, volunteers and supporters are helping open doors for local youth to experience the world of professional sports, from game-day exposure to learning about careers beyond the field.
This initiative supports youth at our Gwinnett County Clubs through fundraising, volunteer engagement, and experiences that connect our members to new possibilities.
Every ticket purchased and every donation helps invest in sports programming, mentorship, and future career exploration for youth in Gwinnett County.

This past Friday, during #NationalVolunteerMonth, we partnered with @feedthechildrenorg and community supporters to serve 400 families across our Movement and surrounding neighborhoods.
With the help of dedicated volunteers, including Concord Enterprises, essential resources were distributed to families in need, including $150,000 worth of food, personal care items, and children's books.
We are grateful to everyone who showed up to serve, support, and strengthen our community.

Our Club gardens give members the chance to get outside, learn how food grows, and care for something they can see progress over time. From planting vegetables to harvesting fresh ingredients, gardening is one of the many ways our youth connect healthy habits with hands-on learning.
Earlier this month, the garden at our Barksdale Club in Conyers got a refresh thanks to alumni, volunteers, and staff ahead of Salsa, Salsa! — one of our favorite events where Club members use ingredients grown in their gardens to create homemade salsa recipes and showcase their creativity. In partnership with @willysmexicana and the @atlantafalcons Youth Fund, the event highlights our Healthy Lifestyles Program.
