Our Lynn Lions had the opportunity to compete against the incredible youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lawrence in a volleyball matchup that represented so much more than just a game.
As proud recipients of the Education Comes First grant, both of our organizations share the same mission: creating opportunities, building confidence, strengthening academics, and investing in the future of our young people. Through sports, our members learn teamwork, discipline, communication, resilience, and leadership, skills that extend far beyond the scoreboard.
It was inspiring to see two clubs, from two different communities, come together with one common goal: empowering the next generation to succeed in school, in sports, and in life. 💙💛

Classroom B crossed the finish line first with over 60 books read! They celebrated with a special winners party! In true BGCL fashion, they chose to share their pizza with the second-place runners-up. ❤️🍕

We are so proud of Danielys and her incredible Youth of the Year journey! Representing the Boys & Girls Club of Lynn, Danielys connected with 31 inspiring teens from across Massachusetts, delivered her speech in front of judges, and saw her face on the big screen at Gillette Stadium. Alongside her advisor, she put in the work and made Lynn proud. Inspired by Joshua Kraft and her peers, she returns home energized and ready to continue making a difference in our community. An experience she will never forget! 💙🌟💙
