It takes a lot of courage to take the stage in front of friends, family, other artists, peers, and people you respect. All can be tough critics. I love to see people send it and succeed. Max made me proud last night playing his original music for the very first time in a prime Saturday night slot in front of a packed house at The End in Nashville. This may be one of the moments I love most about Thanksgiving. Having @maxwell.frasher home… with a full belly… taking a nap on the couch. I hope all of you are surrounded by people you love today.
One morning at Christmas time a few years ago, when Max was a little boy, we were hanging in the kitchen goofing around as Traci made breakfast. I was playing my guitar and said, hey just for fun, let’s write a family Christmas song. Max and Traci jumped in and about 30 minutes later we had a little song called “I Like Christmas”. And now… CHER HAS RECORDED IT FOR HER CHRISTMAS ALBUM!!!! It is out TODAY! I unabashedly encourage everyone to go stream it, buy it, share it (CHER it), and listen to it, but most of all enjoy it. It is a great album, but I think our little Christmas song is something special.
