And this was when I was a junior in high school, back in 1989, in the that brief moment where Geraldo had vanquished Phil and Oprah and before Jerry Springer (and then of course Oprah again and again) overtook him and he was on top of the ratings.

On and off I attempt poetry. From about age 6 on. This is some early aughts stuff. The handwritten ‘responsibility’ title seems like a clue that this poem was written in response to… something.
Also a note on the bottom written in pencil…’should be read to minor key calliope music.'
