Zusammen mit ihrem Trio tritt sie regelmäßig in Jazzclubs auf. An diesem Abend ist es der Band eine besondere Freude den Saxophonisten Jason Fabus als Special Guest gewinnen zu können. Jason lebt in L.A. , ist mehrfacher Bandleader u.a. von „The Fabus Four“ und „Jason Fabus Trio“ , die fest in der L.A. Jazz und Swing Szene etabliert sind. Amanda Mae is a versatile singer from Berlin’s jazz scene who focuses primarily on traditional jazz and the American Songbook. She performs regularly in jazz clubs with her trio. On this evening, the band is particularly pleased to welcome saxophonist Jason Fabus as a special guest. Jason lives in L.A. and is the bandleader of several groups, including “The Fabus Four” and “Jason Fabus Trio,” which are firmly established in the L.A. jazz and swing scene.

The „B-flat All-Stars“ present Violet Greens Swing, Jazz, Blues und Bossa-Nova Doors open: 20:00 – Concert: 21:00 Violet Greens (voc), Arseny Rykov (p), Hendrik Nehls (b), Dexter Stanley-Tauvao (dr) Inspiriert von Billie Holidays herzlicher, authentischer und doch distanzierter Ausdruckskraft sowie der lyrisch provokativen Eloquenz von anspruchsvollem Rap und Absurdismus schafft Violet Greens eine Symbiose aus Jazz, zeitgenössischer Popmusik und Hip-Hop und sucht dabei nach ihrer ganz eigenen musikalischen Sprache. Spirituelle Abgründe und prosaische Beobachtungen sozialer und emotionaler Strukturen sowie zwischenmenschlicher Beziehungen finden ihren Ausdruck in subtiler Bildsprache, unverhohlener Ironie und genreübergreifenden Klängen. Violet Greens und ihre Newcomer-Formation lassen sich nicht von einer elitären Jazzszene bevormunden und setzen auf einen progressiven Stil und den Zeitgeist. Now it’s time to get some concerts going again. 🎹🎹🎹 We are looking forward to be back at both @bflatberlin and the extraordinary @officialronnies . Last year was a bit special one, Lars Berntsen decided to pursue other options, and @runarnetland joined in for a debut in China 🇨🇳. That worked really well and Runar became a part of the OBT. Then this year, Audun Ramo moved and found it difficult to continue in OBT. Thanks to both Audun and Lars for 6-7 years of many, many concerts and fun tourlife. 🙏🙏 So, after a debut with OBT in Japan @arntzenbass was asked to join in permanently.
