Don’t ever let anyone tell you that being a hybrid 📷 shooter is easy. In fact, it’s the total opposite. Having a shot list for photography & a shot list for videography requires you to be fully focused & prepared all while making sure you meet the requests of your client. At the end of the day, it’s all about the client & we’re going to continue to B First in the moments that matter the most.

It was just last year when I was bed bound recovering from cervical spine surgery. I battled depression during recovery because I was unaware of the extent of the recovery from the surgery. I didn’t want to have it but it was either have the surgery or accept paralysis.
Here I am, trying to mentally adjust to the fact that I wasn’t going to physically be able to run YFL4G (Christian apparel company that I started in 2013). Insomnia crept up on me, but God remained present.
I started journaling, praying more, & stillness showed up. I can recall having visions of taking inventory of everything YFL4G possessed. It was one defining element that kept flashing through my mind…my 📷.
Who knew owning an apparel brand for 10 years would pivot me to capturing assets for corporate clients & Hilton Hotels all over the 🌎.
