April 2026 - A truly mishmash month including all the Pesach fun, pho in the PACU, a heart monitor, a challah gang seaside getaway, Bamba and Bagels back together again ♥️ and a sweet memorial service for Sonya.
March 2026 — an eventful month with a birthday medical malady, trips to DC & Monterey and our bill making to the State Senate health committee hearing. Loving the warm spring weather and the change in season 💐
It’s Tu Bishvat! The Jewish New Year for trees. Some excellent trees from the past year:

5. Honolulu, Hawaii
6. 38th Street (my favorite tree tunnel, I drive down this street like every day)
7. Calistoga ginkgo leaves
8. Harads, Sweden - Tree Hotel
January 2026 was, (like always??) kinda horrible with bad news, foggy dreary weather and post holiday funk. Finding tiny pockets of simple joy like lighting candles, cute animals, sewing, and the first signs of an incoming spring kept me going.
*2016* flashback trend play along — yikes. So many close up selfies with the plump collagen filled face of a 30 year old and never ending supply of statement necklaces. Shenanigans with @mermaidkathleen of course, we lived with my darling Laura for half the year and bought our house in Folsom for the second half. BG was just a baby and Cora Jean joined the pack. Penny the cat 🐱 still lived with us. Our first year of marriage. We lost Grandma Johanna. The world changed forever when Tr*mp got elected and Kathleen cut all her hair off in a dramatic mourning cry and god, we didn’t even know how bad it would get. I want to see everyone’s 2016, it was in a lot of ways truly a “before time.”
December 2025 — the most incredible month filled with our vow renewal, our trip to Sweden (which got its own photo carousel!), and fun holiday time with friends and family… such a memorable way to end the year 💖
