ARTISTS IN THE 9-MONTH PROGRAMME For our first programme we have selected artists exploring different themes through different mediums. Kunal Chandra @kunalchandra2005 is a London-based moving-image artist, filmmaker and curator from India, whose practice moves across film, video, sound and text. Rooted in his formation in India and training at the Film and Television Institute of India and the National Film and Television School, his work moves between observational non-fiction, surrealist narrative construction, diaristic forms and moving image curation. Drawing from cinematic traditions in South and Southeast Asia, his practice explores intimacy, desire, migration and psychological displacement, often allowing psychological, social and metaphysical realities to exist within the same frame. Through the collision of image, text and sound, his work engages with yearning, emotional contradiction and the fragile textures of lived experience, creating images and sonic environments that hold tension and tenderness together. Recent curatorial projects include Deviant Traditions of Desire at Close-Up Film Centre, London (2024) and Rivers Through Lost Waters at Atlas Cinemas, Brixton (2025). Upcoming for Kunal:

Lili Lantos: ‘Strategic Growth and Public Presence’ This session takes a broader view and is designed to give artists a comprehensive, practical toolkit they can apply at any stage of their careers. It’s particularly strong for artists who are just beginning to think strategically about their public presence or who want to audit and strengthen what they already have. The session is practical for artists at any career stage, covering how to build a coherent public identity and how to strategically engineer opportunities domestically or abroad while maintaining integrity. The first half focuses on PR fundamentals, outreach, and activating your existing network. The second half addresses strategic growth through interdisciplinary visibility, authentic collaborations, and long-term brand positioning, with real-world case studies from the art world and beyond, including fine art collaborations and market-making. Lili Lantos began her first collaboration in London in 2025 and today collaborates with 15+ artists and talent across Central Eastern Europe, London and Paris as part of Bonne Boniche, an independent, experimental production practice. Her work and research focus on the intersection of innovation, design, media and contemporary art to support cultural development and production. Apart from Bonne Boniche, Lili works as a strategic advisor across corporate strategy, technology, product and venture capital. Her class is part of Professional Practice Support, a five week course starting 16 June. Book NOW. Link in bio. For the 5-week course: Early Birds rate: £250 instead of £350. SAM PARSONS solo exhibition ‘Field Guide – Future Edition’ at Powell-Cotton Museum, Margate, on until 30 October 2026. Inspired by the museum’s dioramas, Sam’s layered, immersive paintings entangle the natural world with canvas, old garments and scrap fabrics — exploring our relationship with nature through an ever-evolving habitat of mark and material. Sam Parsons (b. 1982, Kent, UK) is a painter whose practice draws on a background in zoology, experience in conservation, and a 20-year career as a fashion designer. Parsons received the Harold Tillman Scholarship to study an MA in Womenswear at the London College of Fashion, where early experiments with textiles led to a shift into fine art. The practice has continued to develop through participation in several mentorship programmes, including the London Creative Network, Artquest’s Eco Activism Salon, and Beyond Studio. Recent exhibitions include Nunnery Gallery, London; London Art Fair, London; The Pie Factory, Margate; and a residency at the Powell-Cotton Museum, Kent. @samuel.parsons @powellcottonmuseum #samparsons #BeyondStudio #musuemshow

NEXT SHORT COURSE: BRIDGING PRACTICE TO PRESENCE Before you can write about your practice, you need to understand it. That understanding takes time, the right questions, and enough space for everyone to speak. BPP is the essential course if you need to organise your thoughts and find clarity around the core of your practice. Particularly relevant if you are at a moment of transition: preparing an application, approaching a new body of work, or simply feeling that your words and your practice have drifted apart. Led by our founder Marisa Bellani, who has 10+ years of experience driving artists’ careers by establishing a conceptual framework and helping them articulate what they know but cannot yet say. In person, in small cohorts of 5. Expert and peer feedback. Using neuroscience based coaching technique as well as an inquisitive methodology. Our tested approach combines practical knowledge on statement, biography and CV with dedicated crit time and concrete tools to move forward. Schedule: Week 1: 01 June, 6PM / 02 June, 11AM Welcome & Statement / Bio / CV Week 2: 08 June, 6PM / 09 June, 11AM Your Key Concepts — Part 1 Week 3: 15 June, 6PM / 16 June, 11AM Your Key Concepts — Part 2 Week 4: 22 June, 6PM / 23 June, 11AM Reconciliation Week 5: 29 June, 6PM / 30 June, 11AM Your Statement & Final Considerations Link in bio. Laura Pannack @laurapannack is a London-based artist whose practice takes her across the world in pursuit of her subjects. Her work has been exhibited worldwide, including at the National Portrait Gallery, Somerset House and the Royal Festival Hall, and has received numerous awards among which the John Kobal Award, the Vic Odden Prize and the HSBC Prix de la Photographie. WHO WE ARE. @beyondstudiohq is a physical space where artists meet and discuss. At Beyond Studio we support artists in deepening their practice, aligning their words and their work. We help artists navigate the art world and understand its structure and systems with clarity and confidence. Thanks to our hybrid structure combining a conceptual framework with industry experience, we strategically position artists by providing them with tools to build a strong understanding of their practice while building relationships in and outside the perimeter of our network. Because artists’ practices evolve and transform throughout their lives, we have centred our courses on our reference library. The Beyond Studio library is where the conversations started in our sessions go further and deeper. An evolving collection of essential books, ephemera and printed matter curated specifically for artists. We believe artists develop through talking and researching. The library is built around that conviction and our courses are expanded reading lists: reference points for the ideas, contexts, and questions that emerge during our programmes. We are a space, we are people who keep exploring. If you too are hungry to learn and expand, whether you are early in your career or deepening an established practice, get in touch. Follow us. DM us. ARTISTS IN THE 9-MONTH PROGRAMME For our first programme we have selected artists exploring different themes through different mediums. Jessica Brodigan @Jessica.brodigan works in oil painting, exploring the entanglement of connections between humanity, nature, and imagination. Her tender paintings seek to capture the essence of being alive, blurring the boundaries between the familiar, the fantastical and the uncanny. World-building and storytelling are at the core of her practice. Shaped by a deep fascination with monuments and statues — figures such as the Angel of the North or the Westbury White Horse — her work is populated by watchful presences that quietly safeguard both land and memory. Translated through a soft, cold and fleshy palette reflecting the English countryside, enigmatic feminine beings move through whimsical terrains as both protectors and witnesses. Her process is deeply intuitive; she frequently reworks surfaces using pentimento, allowing earlier traces to remain visible like ghosts of past decisions. These layered marks echo the fragmented nature of memory and lived experience, drawing references from the luminous naturalism of the Pre-Raphaelites and the theatrical sensibility of Rococo painting. Upcoming News for Jessica: Solo exhibition at Salford Museum & Art Gallery. From 29 August 2026 to Sunday 7 Feb 2027. HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE ONION THEORY? Every artist’s practice has a core: the essential, irreducible thing that makes their practice theirs. But how do you find it? And once you do, how do you communicate it? The Onion Theory is our framework for helping artists peel back the layers of their practice, understanding what shaped them, what drives them, and what truly belongs in their artist statement. Want to know more? Drop a 🧅 / ONION in the comments or send us a DM. #ArtistStatement #ArtistDevelopment #ArtEducation #EmergingArtists #ArtistSupport BeyondStudio
