April 30th, 2008 you came into our lives and changed everything for us as a family.
Through the years, life has taken the family in different directions. We’ve had moments where we didn’t always see eye to eye, and times that came with growing pains. But through it all, one thing has never changed and that’s the unconditional love we all have for YOU, the glue that held us together.
You stepped into a unique role from the very beginning. Being passed the baton from your Uncle Travis of being the youngest, surrounded by adults, you were almost forced to grow up a little faster. And somehow, you did it with grace. You’ve always carried a level of maturity, understanding, and strength that sets you apart.
It has been an honor to watch you grow into the beautiful, strong, and focused young woman you are today. We are beyond proud of you not just for what you’ve accomplished, but for who you are at your core.
Accepted into over 83 colleges and universities, earning millions in scholarships… a CTE completer, AVID graduate, dual enrollment student, student-athlete, and a member of the National Society of High School Scholars your dedication speaks for itself. And now, as you begin your journey at UNC Charlotte… our future ATTORNEY, we couldn’t be more excited to watch what comes next.
What I admire most is your ability to stay grounded. You don’t get distracted by noise. You stay focused on your path, even with the weight of expectations that come with being the only grandchild, niece, and daughter. That’s not easy but you handle it with strength and quiet confidence.
And through it all, I want you to always remember this:
You are ENOUGH.
Even in moments where you may question yourself—please don’t forget that. You have a village behind you, loving you, supporting you, and ready to stand with you no matter what. We will always have your back.
We love you more than words can fully express.
