A space inside Sing Sing transforms into something extraordinary: a forum for incarcerated men preparing to share ideas shaped by their lives inside prison.
Through personal narratives and ideas shaped by life behind the walls, the film offers an intimate look at reflection, depth, and vulnerability within the prison system.

The great Maya Angelou said “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
These stories do not start or stop with prison. These men’s stories were interrupted by mass incarceration and our goal with @beyonddocumentary is to lessen the agony Maya spoke of, show what their healing looks like, and fight for freedom.
