3 best and worst parts of my week 👇 LETS GO! 👇
FIRST UP...the parts that didn't make me smile.
1. I locked myself out of my business, at midnight, on a Sunday, without keys, or a cellphone, and had to climb down the fire escape like a ninja to save myself.
2. I found myself sobbing on the floor after a construction project went horribly wrong... and ended up taking twice the amount of time, money, and tears. Worst project I've ever experienced to date.
3. I had to confront a family member about a personal matter on a day that had a lot of added stress and pressure on it already. Although it was a necessary conversation, it wasn't the most ideal time for it to arise.
Now it's time for the moments that made me smile!
1. Putting together a cowboy lamp costume for the @artcityinc Surreal Fundraiser Ball and getting to go inside and explore the Masonic Temple on Donald with a solid group of friends.
2. My daughter turned 15 years old and she just so happens to be following in my rocker foot steps so of course a new electric guitar and amp were in order.
3. I randomly scored an $88 outdoor / camera bag for $5 at the thrift store. This will be the replacement of the one that got stolen out of my car last year that I was beyond hurt about... hence why it took me so long to replace it.

Lately, my photography has taken a sudden turn to a more smoky corner... capturing lifestyle images that showcase strength, passion, and genuine connections.
It's been such a joy to explore the Cigar Industry both in Canada, Las Vegas, and The Dominican!
Luck isn't something I really believe in... but when I get to see those mountains light up (see 3rd photo)... luck is the first world that comes to my mind.

When I first started, I was chasing lingerie work and brand opportunities. And while there’s nothing wrong with that path, I quickly realized how much of the industry is rooted in performance and perception… rather than connection and expression.
That never felt aligned for me.
So I started saying no.... A LOT!
No to the wrong environments.
No to being reduced to an outcome.
No to working with people who didn’t understand the difference between capturing a body… and creating with one.
And over time, that changed everything.
Now, when I step in front of the camera, I’m not just modeling
I’m guiding, collaborating, and helping shape the final image in a way that elevates the entire experience.
It’s also why you don’t see me share it often.
Because the work I take on is intentional… and not everything is meant for mass consumption.

In less than a month I will be back in Canada. This time it will be in Québec, with a short stopover in Montreal. Do you ever find yourself waiting to share your most cherished creations? ...I sometimes keep some of my most favorite self-shot images to myself.
This ☝️ one is a great example of that. I can't even remember when I captured these. And for a while, I had forgotten it even existed.
This was from a fun little studio science day where we got to explore merging shapes together to unite as one. Oh, how I love how the human body warps the mind!
