Last week, our colleagues joined an expert-led session hosted by Smart About Health to mark World Cancer Day. The panel featured four distinguished doctors, Dr Anisha Patel, Dr Mei-Ling Lancashire, Dr Shireen Kassam 🌱, and Dr Silvana Kohon, who led the discussion. The conversation was a powerful reminder that while cancer touches so many lives, the right knowledge, habits, and support systems can make all the difference.
It was moving to hear the panelists share their experiences with honesty and courage, and to learn how each of us can support our loved ones and one another. Conversations like these help us reflect on the importance of empathy and awareness, both in life and in the workplace.
