Been a few months since I’ve been working here and it already feels like home, so I guess it’s time to make it official that @dudu_loft is my new spot 📢🎛️📢 There was an adjustment & decompression period from all the crazy things happening around us. Still, there is a lot of work we need to put into this beautiful space and we’re getting there step by step, powered by good amigos and true fellowship. Old plans turned into new plans, ever changing and growing and it definitely feels like we’re building a team here. Special thank to the house keeper @dimitris_kalamaras for making space for me to do my thing in full effect and all my new τζουτζουκια we’ve been connecting with by doing what we love. 🫂 Currently, I’m finishing some special records that have been in the making for a while, but also looking forward to jump into some new projects with new & old friends to get crazy with it. “Στρόβιλος Ειρμός” ⚒️ @katharoschalkos On December 23rd back in 2023 we locked out PiGi studio for three intense days & nights with this special group of people. The sole purpose of this was to capture the raw live energy of a track that is more of a ritual than anything. During my recording duties I had by my side my dear friend & helping hand in life, Nikos Triantafyllou, with whom we managed to fit everyone in that small cave playing together, without compromising the sound we wanted to capture. It took it’s time to get to it’s final form but the guys got it there and it’s now out via @innerearrecords . Find some space, take your time and have a proper listen. Slide 2 & 10 📸 @myrtoi

φορτωθήκαμε και πήραμε τον ανήφορο, όσο ανεβαίναμε, τόσο ανέβαινε και η ψυχή: for many years I’ve had this idea of bringing projects to record in our old family home in Pelion. finally this year we made it happened. two different projects with completely different set-ups, opened up the door in my head & ears of the possibility that this house can be a safe space for new sounds to be created. fell in love with the process, my new friends and the conversations we had. looking forward to share what we’ve created there. now back in Athens to make some more records, and with a clear mind to confront these wild times that we’re living in.

Πριν τρία Σάββατα λοιπόν είχαμε μια τέτοια εμπειρία στη ΚΡΟΚΕώΝ 5, όπου σε αυτό το άδειο υπόγειο στήσαμε μια αξέχαστη βραδιά παρέα με τους @tusktusk_ / @defteraband & @dry_feel όπου χορέψαμε , αγκαλιαστήκαμε, ήπιαμε, ιδρώσαμε και γιορτάσαμε τα πόλη μας τη ΚΑΚΟΜΟΙΡΗ ΑΘΗΝΑ, ΔΥΣΤΥΧΙΣΜΕΝΗ ΠΟΛΥ. 🏛️ Δεν θα μπορούσαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε αρκετά τη Σήλια για τις ωραίες φωτογραφίες και κυρίως εσάς που γεμίσατε αυτό το υπόγειο με χορό και βαβούρα.🫂 Μέχρι τα επόμενα , καλές βουτιές ⛱️ απ τη παρεα INVALTA

The record is coming out on Thursday so I’ll finish this series with the man behind my whole discography @bey____0 👑💐 My boy is so good at mixing that I wanna keep it a secret and spread the word out at the same time 😂 It’s been a pleasure evolving with you all these years man. You’ve put a lot of work on taking this record a step further and you’ve given way more than what you received. I hope this record serves as a reminder to our scene of what a legend you are, both in the studio and out of it. All the love ❤️
