as a multidisciplinary creative, kai interpreted the HIVE spaces through her own mediums; photography, graphic, and fashion. she blended still imagery with frames and fragments of her sketches to reflect the energy found in the many facets of HIVE, much like the way she shapes ideas in her own practice.
I had to design an eco conscious, future forward items so I came up with environmental cleaning insoles. :)
At first, I planned a detailed, structured box, but I shifted to a simpler design and focused on refining the look instead of overcomplicating the interaction side.
This project reminded me why I enjoy the research side of design (even if deadlines make it intense). In the end, it felt worth it!
