What the last 30 days taught me… Not everything needs to make sense immediately. That plans change, people shift, and timing really is everything. That you can outgrow spaces without warning, and still be grateful for them. That discipline will carry you further than motivation ever could. That protecting your energy and peace isn’t selfish, it’s necessary. And honestly… just keep moving.

Let’s talk about it… Everyone loves to say they’re “in travel.” Very few are actually responsible for running it. Some people travel. Some people host trips. I run travel. That means contracts signed. Vendors vetted. Routes mapped. Budgets controlled. Back-up plans in place before you even think to ask. Pretty photos tell stories. Systems protect experiences. A full passport doesn’t mean you know the industry. A large social media following doesn’t make you a travel expert. I don’t only market travel. I manage it. Different lanes. I know mine.

Imagine this. Exactly a year ago, I chose differently. I stepped away from something that looked put-together on the surface, but in truth, had very little structure behind it. What seemed polished often depended on filling gaps, fixing problems on the go, and carrying weight that wasn’t meant to be carried alone. There was no big exit. No public moment. Just a quiet decision to stop holding together something that wasn’t built properly. To choose clarity, even if it meant taking on more responsibility myself. I don’t work less now , I work more. The days are longer and the pressure is real. But the effort makes sense. Every hour goes into something I believe in, something I’m shaping with care and intention. A year later, the work is demanding but honest. The relationships feel balanced. The direction is clear. What I’m building now isn’t just about how it looks, it has real foundations, and it’s mine. Sometimes choosing differently isn’t about choosing the easy path. It’s about choosing the right one for you. Note: Photos from my last trip to India.

With close to 200 travellers under our umbrella this holiday season, there’s not a moment I’m not grateful to be part of people’s travel memories. Even at dinner, the laptop stays open, answering messages, refining plans, and making sure every experience runs smoothly. It’s been an incredible season so far, full of movement, trust, and stories unfolding in real time, and I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything. 💛

Yi Peng wasn’t polished or perfect. The rain poured down so hard it felt like the night might be cancelled. Shoes soaked through, clothes heavy with rain, everyone waiting in that quiet in-between, unsure if this moment would happen at all. Misha and I just laughed through it. That kind of laughter that only comes when you’re drenched, slightly cold, and still determined. We were set on sending off our wishes, no matter what. And somewhere in that waiting, the night started to shift. We made new friends without even trying. Helping strangers keep their lanterns from burning, steadying them so they wouldn’t crash into others. It’s funny how, in moments like that, we were all strangers, yet it felt strangely familiar. Natural. Easy. I found myself offering to take photos for friends, couples, families… small exchanges, quick smiles, shared excitement, no introductions needed. And when the lanterns finally rose, I didn’t hold it together. Tears came, the kind that surprise you because you didn’t realise how much you were carrying until that exact moment. Watching hundreds of lanterns lift into the sky felt like releasing pieces of myself I’d been holding onto for far too long. There are moments you don’t try to capture properly because no lens can hold them. Pictures and videos will never do this justice. The stillness, the collective breath, the emotion of watching light disappear into the night. Chiang Mai, you were everything I needed, exactly when I needed it.
