This is the opening I had been very excited about, having loved Chef @ahmirarshad ’s food since I had his incredible fried chicken sandwich during the Covid lockdown era. I remember @huatkaliao and I driving over to Telok Blangah to collect our order from him at the void deck, then sitting in our car to stuff our face. Fast forward a couple of years to when he helmed #WildCardSg. We made sure to visit to indulge in his brunch creations and special Thai pop-up menu.
I am thrilled to see he finally has a permanent home for @betweenbuns.sg . @Tonghann , the creative soul behind Marcy’s and Maggie’s, is also involved in the venture.
@huatkaliao and I popped by the other day after our workout, ready to tackle as many sandwiches as our bellies could stomach. Very pleased to discover that #betweenbunssg’s menu run the gamut from hot items to fresh ones (I’ve included it in my Reel for your perusal). All priced very reasonably, especially when one takes their location into consideration (they are right in the heart of the CBD).
