Sometimes my heart overwhelms me. I don’t always know what to do with my love, or with any big feeling really. At the very least, baking has become a place to put some of those feelings. And I am grateful for that.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who bought a mini cake last week. Thank you for supporting this little journey of mine. Thank you for creating community with me. Thank you for including me in your moments of joy and celebration. Thank you for making space for me to learn and create and explore and grow. And thank you for letting me love you with my cakes.

We’re popping-up for Gaza! Next Sunday, November 5th, from 3-7pm, @saraschleede and I are hosting a pop-up in Bed-Stuy to raise funds for humanitarian aid in Gaza. Stop by for a few minutes or a few hours, buy some cake and art made by friends, lean into community care & solidarity, and support relief efforts in Gaza.
I’ll serve up mini cakes (flavors tbd) and Sara will sell an assortment of her delightful prints (swipe for a sneak peak!). All proceeds will go to the Red Crescent.
