@sustainabilityvictoria and @tennisaustralia are setting the standard for a greener future at the @australianopen 2025 by introducing reusable cups—a move projected to prevent around 400 kilograms of plastic waste with an estimated 50,000 drinks served over three weeks. 🎾⭐ And the best part? These reusable cups are set to make an impact long after the final match, finding their way to events across Victoria! 💚 The incredible @greenmyplate team will also be on-site, ensuring every cup is washed and ready to go again. Massive congratulations to the teams at Sustainability Victoria and Tennis Australia for driving this remarkable initiative! 👏 Want to know more about how all this works? Head to our bio or DM us for more details! 💌 📷: Sustainability Victoria #AO2025 #AusOpen #bettercup #bettercupau #bettercupnz #reusablecups #sustainableevents #sustainability

Delivering reuse at festival scale is never just about the cups - it’s about the system, the partners, and the people who return them! 🧡 We’re proud to be the reusable cup partner for @fringeworldperth and to support a program that keeps thousands of single-use items out of the waste stream each season 🎡✨ It’s great to see the initiative and its impact highlighted here, along with how the reuse model works on the ground. If you’re interested in what a large-scale reuse system looks like in practice, this is a great read! 🔗 Link in our bio!

What a fabulous way to bring in the new year at @whenpigsfly__festival with such an amazing diversion turn out!   @closed_loop ’s Sustainable Event Waste Management team were on site hand-sorting the waste which achieved an incredible result - 85% of waste diverted from landfill. At the NYE event, 6,500 drinks were served in reusable cups thanks to @bettercup_ helping avoid 52kg of single-use waste going to landfill 👏   A big shout out to When Pigs Fly for celebrating responsibly and sustainably!   #ClosedLoop #BetterCup #WhenPigsFly #SustainableEvents

@fringeworldperth 2026 is back and so is bettercup! 🎪🧡 We are pumped to be working with the team again this year after the success of 2025. Tim Slack, Fringe Operations Coordinator and keen cup correspondent, had this to say... "For many moons, cups, whether small or large, have caused great grief for festivals and events alike. They break. They go missing. They melt in a hot dishwasher. Not anymore. Not for FRINGE WORLD. Bettercup, the better reusable cup company based out of Melbourne, have seamlessly integrated themselves into the great success that is FRINGE WORLD 25. Reusable, stylish, durable and robust. Everything a patron wants when they take a refreshing glug to quench their thirst. Their Australian-made cups have been a smash hit so far this festival. And there’s no better feeling than having a refreshing beverage AND helping to eliminate single use plastic at the same time. I owe my heart to the Bettercup team, thank you for making the lives of those who focus so intently on cups, so much easier.” Perth Fringe World’s dedication to reusables and improving their system is paying off, and we love to see it. Read more about last year’s reusable cup system. Link in our bio! 🔗 Send us a message if you’re interested in how Perth Fringe World are running their cup system and improving each year! 💌
