✨Festival of Dreams: Bringing Joy and Hope to Slum Communities✨ Last year, we brought Christmas magic to over 500 children in the slum community of Oworoshoki with Festival of Dreams. This December, we’re excited to host *Festival of Dreams 2.0* in Ijora-Badia, reaching even more children. Festival of Dreams is about making sure children in underserved slum communities feel loved and included. For many of these children, celebrating Christmas or having new clothes isn’t possible, so we come together to bring them gifts, clothes, and joyful moments they’ll remember. Through games, sharing talents, and giving essentials, we want each child to know they are valued and not forgotten. You can help make this year’s celebration even bigger by volunteering, partnering, or sponsoring. Every day, we meet young people in our communities who are full of creativity and potential but simply don’t have access to the opportunities needed to bring those gifts to life. At the Ola Coker Foundation, we believe that when young people are given the right support and structure, they are able to grow, learn and lead. This summer, we’re launching a 1-month Youth Vocational & Creative Bootcamp under our newest outfit: The Safe Space Project. Our goal is to equip 1,000 young people with a space to explore their own potential through practical, hands-on skills in areas such as fashion, carpentry, culinary arts, painting, photography, and creative writing. But beyond learning a skill, this initiative is designed to cultivate the confidence and sense of self needed to shape their own paths. We believe when growth is supported at both a practical and personal level, the impact goes beyond immediate outcomes — it has the potential to transform lives and create lasting change across communities and generations.
