It’s been a full few days. An honor to be present for the opening of A Nation of Artists at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, marking the reopening of the newly renovated Furness building. Thank you to our hosts Jamie and Kristin Biddle. Great to see old friends and meet new friends. Image 5 is Bo collaborating with Vince on the next Arthaus Radio episode. Then onward to Atlanta where Bo received the American Portrait Society gold medal. His generous, poetic acceptance speech brought a few tears and standing ovation. So proud of him. Thank you to all the hands and hearts who support art and culture

Art to Heart begins here. 🎥✨
In our very first episode of Art to Heart, Bo and Betsy come together to reflect on the deeper purpose of creating. They talk about how art shapes who they are, what drives them to keep going, and why their work matters not just to themselves, but to the community around them. This is more than a conversation, it’s a glimpse into the heart behind the art.❤️

An entire process of color studies happens before each painting. Playing with opposition of the color wheel here, inclined toward fields of higher chakra colors, conveying philosophies of emergent fields... to live life "as if". I'm not enured to the violence and division of our American cultural soap opera, I'm painting a way out, a question "what if we all could acknowledge our collective presence in the unified field?" The energy is the music that connects us all
I consider this Chromatic Frequency series as reflections of a rich inner life. I started playing piano at age 5, painting around age 14 but then more seriously after graduating with a degree in Art History. Since childhood, my constant companion has been curiosity and a desire to live as a citizen of the world. Where this hunger came from, I'll never know. Maybe unfulfilled dreams of ancestors. Each painting contains multitudes of meaning, and each gesture echos the pieces I play alongside at the piano, currently Debussy's Reverie, a transcription of Bach's Siciliano
