Hi friends! I have some openings for after April vacation, that I would love to fill with YOU or your friends or offspring or parents! I truly enjoy teaching all ages. If you’d like to just start in May, and go for the rest of our spring session, that’s a great way to try it out (or do some audition prep). Then you’d have the option of continuing for summer and/or fall session.
My current openings:
Monday afternoons before 3:30, and 5-5:45
Tuesday 1-2, every other week 2-2:45, 4:30-5
Wednesday and Thursday are currently booked.
Don’t you want to take a break from work in the middle of the day and do something for yourself? You could take singing or piano lessons!! Do you feel like screaming at the top of your lungs? Singing fully gives you that same feeling! Come fill my weird 1 and 2 pm lesson spots!! Work break, fun weird teacher, a temporary salve for existential dread, a beautiful room, and a cafe downstairs!!! Can’t beat it. Please and thank you. #musiclessonsforadults
Marty and I had an excellent adventure to North Conway for a couple of days. We took several pretty hikes. Sarah joined for a lovely spa and shopping day. 10/10 mini vacation.

I’m 41!
We’re living in dystopia. But.
I woke up in our lovely home and had a delicious breakfast (at Ocotillo) with my love. I’m going to teach piano and voice all afternoon, then sing in rehearsal for our professional early music ensemble. I have two silly and wonderful companion animals, my family continues to be very cool, I love my church community, and my health is the best it’s ever been. I am grateful, and hopeful, and will continue to do my best to do good in the world and create safe spaces. ❤️

Nerdy Perkins. August 2008 - October 17, 2025.
Nerdy was a magnificent cat. Despite being rescued from the street at about two weeks old, he remained a wild but very loving soul. He was a wall climber, a duet singer, a tail-shaker, an extremely devoted son and bodyguard, a foot snatcher, a loving and mischievous brother, a flop-tastic and foldable ragdoll mix, a converser with birds, a pillow sharer/head sitter, an escape artist, a very loud purrer, a door greeter, a lap sitter. Bubbles and I wouldn’t want to know what the last 17 years would have been like without him. Marty and Chuey (dogs) and Max (human!) loved their kitty playmate and cuddle buddy too. He was ready to go after a hospice period, even if we weren’t ready. He will always be loved. Goodbye to my sweet Nerd.
