Yes, I'm ranting again. But I’m sick of businesses taking advantage of the work photographers do.
I've not been in this situation for a while, but I've got a number of photographer friends who have.
And so I’ll keep bringing these topics up, because it seems no one else is...
If you’re looking to use images to help your business make money, you can appropriately compensate the photographer you’re buying them from.
By appropriately compensate I mean pay them the amount they say they need to charge and not:
🚫 Lowballing them
🚫 Offering products they don’t want or need
🚫 Offering free exposure (it doesn’t pay the bills)
You wouldn’t accept someone saying I’ll only pay you £20 for a project. So don’t ask another small business owner to.
If you agree, make sure to share this message far and wide 🫶
The number one thing I tell my clients is that they need to be sharing what they do online.
And the one thing I'm rubbish at doing? Sharing my recent work online...
A classic case of do as I say, not as I do 🤭

Is anyone else sick of seeing content slagging off equestrian influencers, that is created just to be controversial or to get views and likes?
I debated writing this, but with how easy it came out, it feels right to share, and I hope it sparks (healthy) conversation, or makes people think before they post.
