After selling to thousands of people, I’ve realised there are just some things you can’t joke with. Once you get them right, everything else becomes easier. If you ignore them, you’ll keep going in circles.

You would be amazed at how much you would discover if you do a good review of your business for this year.
It doesn’t even matter whether your business sold to 100 people and 10,000 people, a review is important.
I started doing a review for business and I can tell you I found 3 gaps in the market that we would start to focus on in 2022.
Gaps I ordinarily would not have discovered while running the business.

You see those goals that you keep hitting every month especially those money goals?
It's time to challenge yourself and make it higher.
And trust me, it can be VERY 'scary because no one really wants to say "oh, wow I didn't hit this month's goal and even last month".
But staying in your comfort zone with your goals is not always too healthy.
Your business needs to expand and you have to be willing to do more, create more, try NEW things and see how it goes.
This year, I tried a lot of new things for my business and I was always scared of how it would turn out. Also because it cost a substantial amount of money too 😅
But I can say that I'm glad I did and I would definitely do more in future.

Everyday I come across ads that are plainly a waste of money and I'll tell you why...
Instagram ads are becoming competitive day by day.
The way you're running ads, your competitors are also doing theirs and may even have a much bigger budget than you do...
...so what then can you do to make your ads better?
Glad you asked (I know you didn't but moving on😂😂)
First, put your BEST OFFER in the first 2 lines of your captions.
Why?
Because that's what people would see first!
If you have something that would make people stop scrolling and be like "oh, really? 😀", include it first in your captions.
Next, your visuals have to be very compelling. Super crisp, super clean and shows exactly what it is that you're advertising.
One HUGE mistake I see every other day is when I can't even tell what is being advertised.
You're advertising a perfume but a necklace is also very much in focus that it seems like that is being advertised too. Stop it 😩
PS: From my experience, video converts better than picture ads so leverage on good quality videos more for your ads.

The truth is that closing sales is a learned skill and the more you learn it and practice, the better you become 💪🏾

What can I say? I'm back 💃🏾
So I took an unplanned break and I just sort of went with it.
Now, I'm going to warn you, this might be a long caption 🤐
Why did I go on a break? Stress, basically...
... I was handling more than I wanted to and anyone who knows me knows that I don't like stress at all 😅 so I had to drop off one thing temporarily and it was this.
What did I do while I was away?
A lot actually. Focused on my business a lot and I was damn proud 💃🏾
If you've noticed, there's a change in username 😬, there's not so much story to that to be honest 😅 but yeah.
During the break, I also had A LOT of reflecting on what type of content I'd be putting here once I get back.
Then I honestly remembered why I started in the first place and what I also love doing.
So I'm concentrating on 3 things - Content (my absolute love), Copy (my first love) and Marketing (my forever love) but for product-based businesses too (what I love).
I'd be sharing my experience as a business owner and you would definitely pick up a thing or two here and there.
I have some content lined up so let's continue, shall we?

Let me tell you something that happened in my business:
So you know that point in your business when you feel stuck and you know you can be doing much more.
That was when I realized it's time to do something different.
In order to do that I had to get more clear on who would buy from my brand.
Now, this helped me to be able to think of creating a new product for my audience and would also be beneficial to my brand.

Understanding who your target audience would definitely remove you from a state of confusion, grant you more clarity and more ideas.
