This post is for everyone who has given us a table at their event, worn the t-shirts, joined the influencer program, invited us to speak, volunteered their skills, donated raffle prizes, and donated their time, money, or power to help keep this effort going!
Slide 2 has the highlight of my year, when we worked to get Walaa a stuffed animal for her 2nd birthday. Whenever determination flags, I pull up these photos to remember what we are working towards. Walaa is now recovering from a very bad lung infection from the cold and damp weather, and her siblings are still sick. Sondos works so hard every day, none of this would be possible without her continued strength and determination.
We can’t do much alone, but as a community, we can move mountains. Every single cent, minute of time, like, or share helps Sondos, and that’s all that matters.
