Such an awesome few days out west with these two! Always incredible spending some time with @kremerbuffalo and seeing our big boys. Bri got to see her baby bubba “Teddy” who’s not such a baby anymore and give him some boops. Also, don’t forget…..you’re free to travel the world. Time & Happiness are the two most precious things in this world….don’t waste either of them! Good Job.

The goal this week was to be in Turks & Caicos and literally sleep half the day and spend the other half of the day walking in two feet of crystal clear water over white sand. Change of plans though and we’re out West for work….. BUT had a great break today with these two out in the woods for a little bit. Looks like a pretty cool place to build America’s coolest $&@“!?*^%#%#. Wink….Wink…..Good job.

It’s not a secret anymore that I sold Bison Union last week. 18 year old me having just got my GED would have never guessed in a million years that I’d be in the position I’m in at this very moment. In the last five days I’ve told Bri no less than ten times…”Man, I wish my dad could be here to see this.” He would be so happy! He used to tell me all the time, “Berty Boy, you got more balls than brains but you always make it work.” With that being said, I’m about to double down and throw everything into a couple projects that I think will be my best work yet….and this time I’m working with a thick binder of mistakes and failures to look back on and ensure I don’t make em again. More excited about these ventures than anything I’ve ever done and I think you all are gonna like em! This is America baby and the dream is still alive if you want it bad enough. There’s no rest for the wicked and remember, winners are just loser that refuse to give up!

First time being unemployed since 1987 when I was 12 years old. The world looks a little different today. I like it. I’ve never met anyone that regretted being happy.

Man what a good day yesterday here in South Dakota! Little story….six years ago I was in good fight, I’d almost argue that it was the fight of my life but I don’t want to sell myself short cause I don’t know what fights lie ahead. The short version is I was broke and had a handful of people fighting to steal literally everything I owned, literally. I had to prioritize the things that mattered most to me and go to war to protect them….Bri & Dean, my dogs, my bison, my cabin, and my businesses ….the ones I created like Bison Union. The things that were living, breathing, the loves of my life had to come first…..like my bison. Most people would have said get rid of the bison, you can’t afford em BUT I couldn’t get rid of them all. Some of them were just too important to me on a much larger emotional scale that I would have ever imagined. They became a symbol of everything I believe in and everything I hold sacred in this world….especially these two guys, “J.R.” (The first bison bull I ever bought) and “Teddy” (Theodore Roosevelt). Unfortunately the only way out was money and I had to take every side job and hustle I could while at the same time making sure Bison Union didn’t fail. From Hollywood action movie consulting, to hauling bison around the country, to selling everything I had of value that I didn’t need or use. Then came the most important part of all, I had to lean on a couple friends which is never easy. I was able through the grace of god, friendship, and everything good in the universe to tuck my bison away in a great place. Paying for someone else to take care wasn’t my for choice but I had to make sacrifices to keep them…..and I did. Looking back on things, the hard right over the easy wrong was always the only answer and I’m going to start sharing some things I love that I’ve kept quiet the last five years because personally, I needed to find peace in this world, and the next. Super excited about things to come. Life is amazing! People are amazing! In the words of the poet James Todd Smith… “Don’t call it a comeback, I’ve been here for years.”

Don’t trust anyone’s opinion on the world that doesn’t have a passport. Period. Good job.

Man I used to hate going to Las Vegas. This weekend was different. I was in Los Angeles for the day Friday for a meeting and then met Bri in Las Vegas for her birthday and do some planning on a project with a great friend that’s been in the works for about eight years. We had a blast! I wouldn’t want to be here full time but I’m excited that we’ll be spending a bunch more time here moving forward. I’ve been quiet on social media about work, projects, and dreams….mainly cause I’ve just been focused on family, peace, and happiness. Now that I’ve found that, it’s time to put some of these plans and dreams in action. Super excited about things to come and hopefully the chance to help some people make themselves and their lives a little better. More to follow soon…..
