New comic in stories! ! Pictured here on the TL is a giant t-shirt I painted made by a truly great artist @woodleywhiteart I have two framed Woodley White drawings in my house that bring me much joy. The painting I copied is by Jan Boeckhorst entitled “The Resurrection” — Jan was a Dutch painter who hung out w/ Rubens who in turn influenced Vincent Van Gogh and onto Joan Mitchell, the history of Art is a beautiful thing! Thank you Woodley & Space 1026 💙
New political comic in stories, new painting behind me “MACCA” inspired by my love of Paul McCartney, the Beatle with the highest IQ. (It’s got more pretty pink in it than a picture can capture)
Thank you everyone for your unique likes & comments on my last post. I ❤️ hearing from you!
I’ve been enjoying the following tab. New comic in stories.
I really hate this app. This isn’t political, the design is really horrible. It’s gotten increasingly worse in the last few months. I don’t see any of my friend’s posts. It’s ALL REELS from influencers, comedians or ads. This place is a giant commercial. Stories are the final frontier, the timeline is dead. I can’t be the only creative person who realizes this. We use this space to connect to readers or general art lovers, which only makes up 14% of the general population. There’s no way a person who enjoys reading or art would spend time in this digital space. To think of what Instagram was like when it first started seems quaint. I’m leaning towards starting a substack for my comics. What keeps me here is my appreciation of the artists work I got into through this app. I hope we all collectively move elsewhere. I will follow you. 🙏
