While we often hear about the leather workers of Florence or the silk weavers of Varanasi, Britain’s artisan skills are rarely mentioned, as if craftsmanship was in terminal decline. We intend to address that misapprehension and show that the time-honoured craft of metalworking is higher in the UK than anywhere else in the world. If quality matters, British artisans deliver.

Within this Fitzrovia apartment by @gunterandco , The Tanto Wall Light Large is positioned symmetrically either side of the fireplace, anchoring the composition and drawing the eye to the artwork above.
Its vertical lines echo the wall panelling, adding a more defined, architectural presence to the space while the brushed brass and black marble introduce a more defined, graphic contrast within the soft, tonal palette.

Colt triple pendant in brushed brass and textured black bar.
One light, three shades, suspended above a walnut and rattan island in perfect sequence. The brushed brass finds the trim running along the joinery below; the clean horizontal bar echoes the door behind. Two different heights, the same material language. Nothing in this space is working alone.
The Colt brings weight to the room from above. Grounded in brass, precise in its geometry, it gives the space beneath it a sense of arrival.

The Tanto Double wall light in brushed brass and green marble punctuates the space with a sculptural rhythm, echoing the vertical cadence of the ribbed wall and reinforcing the warmth of the surrounding wood tones.
