Born in Spain, BERTØ has ignited the passion of countless audiences in Hong Kong, Spain, Germany, and especially in the Netherlands. He was based in Rotterdam for five years, while focusing on raw/groovy EBM, and the 240kmph sound.
As a founder of Rotterdan’s second largest interdisciplinary group CODA, he has organised various underground parties and high-profile club nights in the past two years. Has performed and planned parties at POING, a well-known club in the Netherlands. For the last half a year, he has been in Beijing there, contributing to the scene and bringing his sound to Asia.

After my last set in Berlin, I wanna thank @potato66yl for the giving me the chance to play within a month of being in Beijing, marking my official debut in China and I couldn’t be happier with it.
I got to play what I love surrounded by the people I love. I started my set very raw and groovy and then ramped it up the usual BERTØ style.

I know I’m lazy af when it comes to posting, so get ready for a weekly post for the next month.
I thought what better way to start than by posting about CODA’s POING take over. Let me just say that was insane, I have never seen POINGs basement that full, during the whole night, with the highest levels of energy. A crowd bouncing as one 🥹
Honestly to have the dungeon packed, while legends like Bastienne, Salome n Mac Declos were playing on the MainStage felt surreal.
After dancing countless of hours inside those walls, being finally able to play and stand on the other side of the stage was unreal. From the first track, to the last track (ofc I had to drop gasolina ⛽️) I had goosebumps and shivers running down my spine.
It was also a blessing to close the dungeon in one of the last club nights, I was able to play what I love with the people I love and I hope you all enjoyed as much as I did.
To finally play in a place I call home, was a unique experience filled with lots of emotions and people I love around me.
I am beyond heartbroken POING closed its doors last week. It’s Saturday, im chilling when I’d normally be recovering from a night out at POING.
Anyways, there is my rant, much love to all of you who are always there for me, my day ones, you guys deserve the world ❤️🩹❤️🩹

I been really lazy with the IG recently, so here I am spicing it up 🌶️
Id like to thank for the invite, it was a pleasure to play @boomeranghkg with their first ever techno event.
The sound system and the VJ’s were absurd. When I was first told I was going to play at a top 50 club in the world I was in a lot of doubt, after playing, I can confirm shit was insane.
Can’t wait to be back in Hong Kong to create more memories like this one 🤗
I had the incredible opportunity to perform in Hong Kong, marking my debut in Asia, alongside @abyss.852 . It was an absolute pleasure to close the event, as the crowd's energy was unparalleled, and the lighting production was nothing short of spectacular. Every aspect of the night exceeded my expectations.
Having grown up in Hong Kong, coming here and giving back for the first time here felt amazing.
In this set, I aimed to present a seamless fusion of my signature sound with elements of more dynamic and intense genres.
It's a shame that the recording was cut short, I went 30 minutes overtime and closed 3 times 🤣
