“Kapot maken” burlap, polyester, egg shells, graphite pigment and acrylic on canvas, 2025 - last year I started using Dutch titles I have heard and picked up working in a warehouse in Amsterdam. Goedemorgen allemaal.

Time Sandwiches and Other Futures is a week-long experimental exhibition by Bert McLean and John Walter. The project transforms LALAIL Gallery and its courtyard into a quantum time capsule – a live site of speculation, excavation, and invention.
The exhibition will unfold as an open manual of activities across the week. Visitors encounter the show whenever the artists are present: a fluid, evolving situation where process and outcome blur.
This project runs 27 October – 2 November.
Open to visitors Thursday 30 & Friday 31, 14:00-18:00.
Closing Party 14:00-18:00 Sunday 2 November.
