Beautiful little Punch has stolen my heart ❤️ . The sweetness and most precise little soul who just wanted his mother’s love and has now stooen the hearts of millions.
The story of Punch-kun, lovingly called Punch — a tiny baby monkey with a heart too big for his little body.
Born in July 2025 at Ichikawa City Zoo in Japan, this seven-month-old macaque faced heartbreak almost immediately. His biological mother rejected him shortly after birth, leaving him to begin life without the warmth every newborn needs.
The keepers at the zoo stepped in right away, becoming his caregivers and protectors. But even with all their effort and kindness, something was still missing — the comfort only a mother’s presence can bring.
So they placed a soft orangutan plush toy beside him. And Punch held onto it as if it were his own mother — cuddling it, carrying it, finding safety in its softness while learning to face the world inside his enclosure. ❤️
