04•05•2026✨🇳🇬 Today, the 4th of May 2026 marks my fifth (5) year working as an economist in one of the most reputable organisations in the country. A milestone driven by constant unlearning, relearning, learning. Some level of ignorance, rebuilding, breaking and exogenous factors outside of my control. But numerous positive advantages I can't fail to recognise. This new development in my career comes with numerous benefits I am most grateful for but hidden underneath comes with responsibilities I am petrified to admit that I can’t handle but the ordeals of the week have shown me that I am not alone. God is with me. In this journey, there are guiding principles that have kept me in absolute consciousness of my duty (not just as an official but as someone who reckons herself, a nation builder) and I deeply hope to abide by as long as I shall live. Though, there are days I forget my identity as a man who after beholding himself in a glass cannot remember his magnificence and profile but with God this day, I vow to go forward ever and backwards never. To behold my assignment as a soldier readily active for battles. In Christ Jesus, I run through troops and leap over walls. I fear no evil for God is with me; His rod to correct me, His staff to comfort me. God is with me. I cannot fail Him for He works in me to will and to do of His good pleasure. In Christ Jesus, I pray.

Life and Godliness (2 Pet. 1:3) According to 2 Peter 1:3, God’s divine power is not limited to preserving us for eternity alone, it is also actively at work in our lives here on earth. I’ve come to understand that His power doesn’t just secure our place in heaven; it equips us to live purposefully, prosper, and experience peace in this present life. He has already given us everything we need; spiritually, mentally, and even practically, to live a godly, balanced, and fruitful life now, while also preparing us for eternity. So, the Christian journey is not just about making it to heaven; it is about manifesting His life, power, and goodness here on earth as a testimony of His grace. Marriage attains its truest magnificence and purpose when you are joined with a partner who is genuinely rooted in Christ; one in whom the Holy Spirit dwells. This is a realization I have come to embrace. Such a union is guided not merely by emotion, but by divine impact, fostering love, wisdom, and mutual growth.
