One highlight was when I was helping a person and someone behind him yelled “Oh my god”! The buyer looked generally concerned, like something was amiss.
I told him that’s just the normal reaction when people see my art. Seriously I internally love hearing all your squeals of joy 🥹🥰

Well that was a not so nice surprise to come home to after being @craftcationconference for the past 5 days.
I’ve had this unit for 5 years and that was when it decided for the shelf to give out..🫠

Is anyone else feeling completely unmotivated to make art this year?
I was in my studio for 4 hours today and only made 4 things.
Usually I make much more in that time frame.
This year I’m allowing myself to slow down and make time for other things in my life. Which means I’m not doing as many shows.
I’m proud I was able to bust out this cute little tin I found at a flea market, and repurpose it into a new piece of art.
This Saturday I’ll be at my first show of the year in Marin @millvalleyrecreation
This was a super special commission I got to make. We have been dog sitting Louis for 3 years and love him dearly. His dads asked me to make something large scale, based on a photo.
I love this photo so much, because he looks like he’s laying in a bed of flowers.
