Germany really said “welcome to the land of rules” 🇩🇪⚖️
TV tax without a TV, protected wasps, dog tax, fishing exams… we collected some of the weirdest (but real) German laws no one tells you about 👀
Which one surprised you the most – and do you know any others we should add? 💬

The Pergamon Museum is officially closed! 🚧 After nearly 100 years of showcasing ancient wonders, one of Berlin’s most famous museums has shut its doors for extensive renovations. ✍️ Good to know:
🔨 Reopening in phases: More than half of the Pergamonmuseum (Museum for Islamic Art, Pergamon Hall, Hellenistic Hall) will be reopened in 2027. The north wing & central hall (with the Pergamon Altar) are set to reopen in 2037.
🌍 Highlights like the Ishtar Gate & Processional Way will remain inaccessible for years
Berlin won’t be the same without it—but we’ll be counting down the days until it’s back! ⏳
