In November 2025, we partnered with @theictj to train displaced human rights defenders from Sudan on open source investigative methods. With these new skills to document atrocities, their aim is to strengthen capacity for Sudan's transitional justice processes.
"If a democratic transition comes, we can, through the information and skills we’ve acquired, employ this training in how we truly document and monitor these violations and conduct good investigations," said Sudanese lawyer Mozamel Belgali Mohammed, a participant in the workshop. "This is so [these violations] are preserved and archived in our records until peace comes, and we can seek to use them for transitional justice.”
