We are wishing our incredible @berkeley_group colleague @maybe1l the very best as she takes on the National Three Peaks this weekend for our #StrategicPartner @thechangefoundation Over the course of 24 hours, Mabel will be climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in support of the ‘Challenge for Change Series’. This iconic event forms the first of a number of headline events coming up to celebrate The Change Foundation’s 50th anniversary in 2031. The events will bring together charity staff, supporters, ambassadors, partners and young people to do something positive and a little bit bold! Having joined Berkeley just nine months ago as an apprentice, Mabel has shown incredible dedication to supporting the Berkeley Foundation and our partnerships. This Mental Health Awareness Week we’re shining the spotlight on Sunbeams. Led by girls and women with lived experience, Sunbeams was founded to support the mental health and wellbeing of girls in Hackney’s Orthodox Jewish community who may struggle to access mainstream mental health services. Sunbeam works with local schools and services to bridge gaps in care. Through mentoring and activities, Sunbeam helps young girls who struggle with their mental health to build self-esteem and confidence. We partnered with Sunbeams as part of the second cohort of our Resilience Fund. Yenti Friedmann, Finance & Development Officer, comments: “We’ve embedded resilience across the organisation so we can continue being there for the girls and young women who rely on us.” Read more on pages 52-53 in our Annual Review: .uk/-/media/foundation/about-us/berkeley-foundation-annual-review-2025_03112025.ashx?rev=eddb405ab7a547b8b12d2d140bd6e8b9&hash=DE009C09FA804A6456C9F52393F17C11 #MHAW #mentalhealth #resilience

Congratulations to the @berkeley_group team for taking on the Tough Mudder challenge and raising nearly £4,000 in support of our #Community Partner @st_giles_trust . This demanding event was a great opportunity for staff to come together, push their limits, and support a worthwhile charity. Now in its fourth year, our partnership with St Giles contributes to its outreach programme and in-hospital mentoring service, helping to prevent serious youth violence. Our brilliant Foundation Champion Najla Williams who led the team from Berkeley’s Twelve Trees Park development comments: “It was an amazing experience overall, but definitely gruelling and incredibly hard at times - a real test of both mental and physical strength. The team were absolutely amazing throughout. Everyone was so supportive, and the team spirit was really high from start to finish. We kept motivating and encouraging one another through every obstacle, which made a huge difference.” #corporatepartnership #fundraising

It's #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek and we're joining our #CommunityPartner @changeofsceneuk in taking a mindful minute each day. Turn the volume up, and use it as a brief pause to reflect on the benefits time in nature can give us. Follow Change of Scene for more mindful minutes from the farm this week! #mhaw #pause #nature

Our hashtag#StrategicPartnership with @nhyouthcentre supports vital frontline services for young Londoners experiencing homelessness, helping them to secure housing, sustain independence and improve their life skills. Our funding has also enabled the Housing team to pilot a new referral model that is helping young people to navigate the variety of services on offer to them. Last year, our partnership supported over 200 young people to access New Horizon’s Housing and Life Skills services. 20 of them moved into long-term accommodation and we helped 17 young people, like Arash, to secure employment, education or training - fulfilling their ambitions and striving for success whatever their circumstances. Read Arash’s story on page 18-19 in our Annual Review: Berkeley Foundation - Annual Review 2025 .uk/-/media/foundation/about-us/berkeley-foundation-annual-review-2025_03112025.ashx?rev=eddb405ab7a547b8b12d2d140bd6e8b9&hash=DE009C09FA804A6456C9F52393F17C11

As we mark the end of our ten-year partnership with The Honeypot Children's Charity and thirteen-year partnership with SPEAR, we are proud to celebrate our incredible journey together. By investing long‑term though unrestricted funding and building trust‑based relationships we’ve been able to support both charities as they expand into new communities and deliver innovative new projects. During the partnership, Honeypot have opened a new house and significantly increased the number of super fun respite breaks for young carers. They have also introduced health and wellbeing breaks delivered in partnership with schools for young people experiencing emotional difficulties. Through the introduction of Wellbeing Days, SPEAR have supported over 600 people experiencing homelessness to access vital health services, as well and strengthening their services across West London in response to escalating social care and housing needs. Thank you to our brilliant Foundation Champions Katie Sampford and Jags Sanghera for your commitment and vision in leading the partnerships with the Berkeley Group Plc. Thanks also to countless colleagues and to Berkeley’s brilliant supply chain who have contributed in so many ways over the years. We’re grateful for everything we’ve achieved together for people experiencing homelessness in west London, and young carers across the UK. If your organisation is looking to build a meaningful, high‑impact charity partnership, we highly recommend reaching out to Carrie Reiners at SPEAR or Georgina Hargreaves at Honeypot.

Our hashtag#StrategicPartnership with @moneyreadyuk funds Young Adult programmes, which build financial literacy skills in young people at risk of homelessness. Last year, 1,091 young people benefitted from 170 training courses across London and Birmingham. Luke is one of them, and comments: 💬 I haven’t had any financial education before this course. I think it’s very important and should be introduced into the curriculum in secondary school. I left school and went straight into work, so I was earning money from the age of 16 and I never spent it correctly. Now I’m ready to learn more about money.” Read more on page 16 in our 2025 Annual Review : .uk/-/media/foundation/about-us/berkeley-foundation-annual-review-2025_03112025.ashx?rev=eddb405ab7a547b8b12d2d140bd6e8b9&hash=DE009C09FA804A6456C9F52393F17C11

Thank you to our #StrategicPartner @thechangefoundation for inviting us to celebrate The Spirit of ’81 last night. We time travelled back to the 80s (complete with shell suits and handlebar moustaches) for a look at how and why Andy Sellins set up the charity 45 years ago. And it was a privilege to be part of the launch of the charity’s new strategy, setting out its plans to reach more young people, in more places, over the next five years. We’re looking forward continuing our work with @navjeetsira , Ross Defoe and the team on the #StreetElite programme, which supports young people impacted by violence, crime and inequality into education, employment or training. We've got three Street Elite festivals coming up in June – watch this space! 🏏
