DJ and producer BERGA brings more than two decades of musical exploration to the electronic scene. Beginning as a self-taught drummer and evolving into a multi-instrumentalist, he has developed a deep passion for sonic storytelling. His sets and productions craft immersive journeys, blending hypnotic rhythms with organic textures to create a sound that is both raw and emotionally evocative. Known for his textural, emotional, rhythm-driven techno, BERGA thrives in intimate club environments and festival stages alike, seamlessly navigating between genres and tempos. His performances often incorporate live instrumentation, including guitar, drums, and synthesizers, adding a distinctive human touch to the electronic landscape. Born and raised in Brazil, BERGA draws from a wide spectrum of influences such as jazz, gospel, samba, bossa nova and alternative rock. These roots infuse his music with authenticity, groove and depth, shaping a unique sonic identity within techno. His work has earned support from artists including JakoJako, Mama Snake, MARRØN, Woody92 and other key figures across the global electronic music community. His productions have been released on labels such as Duplicity, Diffuse Reality, PRTLW, Circuitbreaker, among others. As a DJ, he has supported artists including Marcal, Decoder, Hasvat Informant, Connor Wall, and more. BERGA is also the co-founder of @opportunitymv , a Melbourne/Naarm-based art collective focused on showcasing emerging talent and creating meaningful connections through music, culture and visual art.
